HELPING TO BUILD SOMEONE ELSE'S FUTURE
At The Whitlow Foundation, our vision is to offer micro-scholarship awards in the form of "Tools Of The Trade" for the creative art and the culinary art forms to students who are attending an art institute or a culinary school ages 17-22 with abilities, the passion, and determination who could not otherwise secure the financial aid needed to make those purchases.
We’re here to introduce them to all options that will assist in funding their creative education.
We want them to succeed in a culinary arts program or an art institution to further their aspirations of becoming an artist or an accomplished chef. So we offer supplies and monetary aid options, that are not required to pay back, to assist them in meeting their financial needs.
Additionally, we host an annual fundraiser called "Food As Art" and are asking you to join us in our efforts. This special event of journeys provides an in-depth look at food and art culture within the undeserved communities, including stories and favorite recipes. This project, both a performance and an installation, will capture the essence of "Art." We pair six chefs and six artists for one of the most amazing creations of Food and Art in motion. The artists capture the chefs live while they prepare a taste; all for you to experience the wonderful culture of food and art.
We believe your organization will benefit greatly by contributing to our foundation and would like to request a partnership.
In exchange for your partnership you will receive:
Recognition on participating website
Recognition in our monthly newsletter, which will be distributed to over 500 local households and businesses.
A tax-deductible donation receipt
Supporting our fundraising event is supporting youth and young adults who want to increase their economic position and creative involvement in their communities.
